GD Goenka Signature School follows the CBSE assessment framework, blending formal examinations with continuous, portfolio-based evidence of learning. Our aim is to prepare children for life, not just for a mark-sheet.
No formal examinations. Continuous observation, learning portfolios and parent-teacher conversations track every child's progress.
Two term-end examinations plus continuous class assessments (worksheets, projects, presentations). Grade reports emphasise concept mastery over ranks.
Half-yearly and annual examinations. Portfolio, subject enrichment activities and rubric-based assessment continue alongside.
CBSE Board pattern with pre-Boards, coursework, project assessment, and the CBSE Class X (2025-26) & Class XII (2024-25) Board results — 100% pass in both.
Learning is tracked every week, not just at term-end. Small course-corrections happen early.
Every assessment tests understanding and application, not memorisation of facts.
Every child receives written, specific, actionable feedback — the marks come after.
Every child's progress is judged against their own growth curve, not the class average.
“A great school does not train children to pass a test. It teaches them the questions worth asking, and then quietly helps them answer.”
