Pre-Primary — Class 2
No formal examinations. Continuous observation, learning portfolios and parent-teacher conversations track every child's progress.

Grade 3 — 5
Two term-end examinations plus continuous class assessments (worksheets, projects, presentations). Grade reports emphasise concept mastery over ranks.

Class-wise Assessment
How each stage is assessed.
The school follows the CBSE guidelines from Class Nursery to XI. Assessment of students is done through the different skills they acquire throughout the year, following the curriculum planned by the CBSE for all classes.

Classes I & II
No formal assessment. The children are assessed on the basis of day-to-day observation, through general discussion and revision worksheets.

Classes III – V
The student’s performance is evaluated on the basis of unit tests, oral tests and project work.

Classes VI – X
The academic year is divided into two terms — Term I and Term II. Each term has Unit Tests and one Term exam (Half-Yearly / Annual), and both terms carry equal weightage. Periodic assessment includes unit tests, maintenance of notebooks and subject-enrichment activities. Students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject as well as in aggregate in Term II for promotion to the next class. For Class X, the CBSE Board conducts the examination for 80 marks covering 100% of the subject syllabus; the remaining 20 marks are set aside for periodic assessment — periodic test (10 marks), notebook submission (5 marks) and subject-enrichment activities (5 marks).

Class XI
The academic year is divided into two terms — Term I and Term II — each with Unit Tests and one Term exam (Half-Yearly / Annual), carrying equal weightage. Students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in Theory and Practical separately in subjects involving a practical examination to be promoted. A candidate failing in one of the five subjects of the annual examination is placed in compartment in that subject.
